Mitch Zellner, Director of the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products, shared in a recent television interview “E-cigarettes are now the most commonly used tobacco product among young people in the United States,” adding, “we need to get the word out about the dangers of e-cigarette use among adolescents”. November is home to the Great American Smokeout, an annual event hosted by the American Cancer Society. While great gains have been made to decrease cigarette smoking in America, it is disturbing that a new generation of youth is engaging in vaping which contains high levels of nicotine. So, come join us Monday, September 19th to learn more about this troubling public health issue.
